He worked in various mediums, including etching, lithography, oils, watercolors, and printmaking. His subject matter has ranged from cityscapes of New York, to old Jerusalem, and figures and portraits. Exhibitions of his art have taken place at the Art Institute of Chicago, the National Academy of Design, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Reproductions of his work have been popular in prints, and postcards.
